Auburn Spring runs May 9-11, but on Wednesday, May 8 you can see what the weekend is all about via Preview Day. This day is a great way for you to see the cars that will be included within the auction, plus get a jump on swap meet and car corral shopping. As everyone and everything comes onsite to set up, you can get a preview of the weekend fun and find a deal along the way. This day is free for everyone.

The car corral is where individuals offer vehicles only (no parts, etc) for sale. You can shop, compare and make the deal directly with the owner. All vehicles in the corral must be for sale, in running condition and cannot be displayed on trailers. Spaces are approximately 10' frontage x 20' depth. While you browse the swap meet and enjoy cars within the car corral or at the auction, there will be some additional fun booked as part of Auburn Spring. Join Solution Action Sports for BMX demonstrations. Solution Action Sports produces EXTREME – high flying entertainment that leaves thousands of spectators nationwide in awe every year. With jaw dropping entertainment, this fun can be enjoyed by all ages. Expect a very crowd interactive show, with the best athletes in the industry.

There are two performances Saturday, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Both are free with a paid admission to the event itself.

What do you think when you see a Smart Car? Opinions aside, they are indeed small and compact. What they aren't are speed demons...until now! Wild West Entertainment proudly presents their jet powered Smart Car at Auburn Spring. This car will blow flames and highlight the phrase "big things come in small packages." This demonstration is free with a paid admission and takes place twice on Saturday, 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Spend time at Auburn Spring with Richard Rawlings of the Discovery Channel program Fast N' Loud. Rawlings is a Texas native and has been a car guy since infancy. Richard bought his first car when he was 14 years old: a green '74 Mercury Comet and from then he was hooked. By the time he was a senior in high school, he was on car number three; a '77 Bandit Trans Am.

Richard says he has always worked just so he could have cars and now his work and passion for cars are tied together with the TV show. In addition, he's a veteran of transcontinental road rallies, having won the Gumball 3000 and the Bullrun — twice. He is the current world record holder in the Cannonball Run, covering the 2,811 miles from New York to Los Angeles in 31 hours and 59 minutes. That's an average speed of 87.6 miles per hour.

Richard will be onsite at Auburn Spring on Saturday, May 11 only. Autograph sessions run 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Auction Arena.

This year’s Auburn Spring event will feature a new attraction - the inaugural Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Central Division National Spring Meet. A natural fit with the weekend’s focus on celebrating all things automotive, the meet will incorporate a broad range of events and activities, including a judged car show featuring up to 500 cars, a judging school and training, plus an apprentice program. The weekend fun will culminate with a late afternoon barbecue on Saturday, May 11.
