For Immediate Release
Experience Carlisle Performance & Style
Thursday, March 27, 2008
CARLISLE, PA – Carlisle Performance & Style, at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds May 9-11, will satisfy your need for speed and provide an outlet for those seeking the very best custom compacts, VIP luxury sedans, SUV’s, body-dropped trucks, donks, race cars, drift cars and everything in-between. Featured indoor displays include the StreetGlow ICE House, the new VIP Lane and Club Carlisle where you’ll find the top NCCA cars from the region as well as a hip-hop battle and model search brought to you by Street Trenz Magazine.
Got a hot ride you want to show off? If your car is magazine worthy, compete in the double-point NCCA-judged Top Flight “Elite 50.” These vehicles are the best of the best and will battle for top honors and $2,500 cash as well as the bragging rights.
Maybe you’re more into the Carlisle action. Take a turn sliding around Carlisle’s drift track. Drifting and autocross will be available all weekend for participants to show off their skills for the crowds. For cars with some serious bass, compete with other techno junkies in the dB Drag & Bass Race audio competitions.
The beauty contest always fills up the stands. The hottest women around will blow you away as they try to earn the “Miss Carlisle” title. A favorite at every P&S is the burnout contest. Smoke ’em if you got ’em, and shred those tires if you want to win.
Need some new gear? Shop the Manufacturers Midway and Swap Meet vendors all weekend for almost any automotive item you can think of.
This year’s celebrities will be Jason Ellis, professional skateboarder, amateur drifter and Sirius satellite radio DJ, and Neil Tjin, legendary car builder and editor of HCI Magazine. Each will show off their skills when it comes to automotive Performance & Style.
