Carlisle Truck Nationals Wants You

Carlisle Events and the U.S. Army Heritage Center are issuing a call to arms for all military vehicles in an attempt to muster up a Mid-Atlantic Pool of Military Trucks. This unique gathering will be displayed at the 2011 Carlisle Truck Nationals, August 5-7 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds. Those who participate will receive a discounted admission which includes the opportunity for awards and recognition of their vehicle.


With the leadership of the U.S. Army Heritage Center in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, the Carlisle Truck Nationals hopes to exceed the 2010 showfield turnout which was infiltrated by a convoy of Vietnam Era Gun Trucks and their veteran crews. That sight stirred the excitement of over 35,000 truck show attendees. This special display on the grounds will be hosted by the heritage center and military vehicle owners will be offered the opportunity to join the Carlisle Truck Nationals to share their hobbies and passions with truck enthusiasts of all kinds.


As a major trucking hub on the east coast, it’s hard to miss the big rigs rolling through Carlisle. Semis, 18-wheelers or long haulers, whatever your name might be for the trucks that keep America moving, will once again be at the fairgrounds for the Big Rig Show and Shine.

Special guests for the weekend include Kelvin Locklear from Outcast Kustoms and the Trick My Truck program on CMT as well as Brian Fisher from Fisher’s ATV World on the Outdoor Channel. All guests will appeal to the hobbies and interests of those attending.


Annually, the Carlisle Truck Nationals is one of the largest truck events geared toward the entire family. This show is a must-attend with over 2,000 trucks of all shapes and sizes. The showfield has everything from restored classics, lifted or lowered 2- and 4-wheel drives to chromed-out big rigs. The entire family will enjoy monster truck shows and rides, the kids’ activity area, shopping in the swap meet, the Manufacturers Midway and much more. With more variety than you can imagine, the Carlisle Truck Nationals is truly Your Truck Destination.
