Improving Pre-Registration Process Saves Guests Time, Money

Time and money are important resources. Carlisle Events appreciates that point. The host of world-renowned collector car, truck and motorcycle shows is streamlining procedures to save their event guests both resources. Throughout the 2010 season, anyone displaying their car at the specialty shows will have a chance to enter the Carlisle Fairgrounds without delay. Bike Fest attendees’ entry process will be slightly different as they will pay at the gate and – with a special Bike Fest wristband – may enter and leave the grounds at will throughout the weekend.

In the past, car registrants would wait in line at the showfield registration area to enter their vehicles. But now, pre-registrants will drive right through the gate. Carlisle Events’ goal consistently has been to maximize the experience for its guests, making the visit safe, memorable and enjoyable.

To deliver on this commitment, Carlisle Events has implemented new procedures that will improve what used to be an at-times timely process – bringing a car onto the grounds. Ed Scholly, Associate Director of Business & Event Development, has been leading the charge within the company. “We will now make it easy to pre-register. By doing so, our vehicle registrants will not only save $10 if they meet the deadline, but they will receive their windshield sticker in the mail during the month leading up to the show.” Scholly further explains, “No longer will drivers need to park and wait in line. The objective is to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the VIP treatment of being able to roll right through the gate directly to the designated parking area.”
